Hi,

Did you know that one out of three child deaths in the developing world--a total of nearly 3 million each year--is caused by diarrhea or pneumonia? That's more deaths than malaria, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis combined.

But did you also know that we now have two new vaccines that will help stop these two preventable diseases--we just need to make sure these proven vaccines get the funding they deserve?

I just signed a petition asking President Obama to make sure these two vaccines get to the kids who need them most.

i forgot where i was.

the dark trees and the road blended into one and my mind was lost in the darkest. i wasn't thinking about my friends or family, money or school, everything i need to get done and everywhere i need to go in the next few days. it was just... empty.


now its 10:45pm. the house is sleeping. tomorrow is going to be long. i have to wake up and leave my house at 8am for my 11am english class. however, in those long 3hours ill have a chance to do my homework. ill be home by 12:20 only to stuff my face before taking a bus and a train and another bus down to navy pier for the sofa show. my fashion class requires i go and write a one page paper on it. ill of course be traveling with my friend julian, because with him id be lost before i made it to the train station. i really need to learn how to use the bus. but even so, i would be just as lost downtown.

now that my head is spinning with all the tiredness of the world fall on me, its time to say goodnight and sweet dreams.
